Oh my days Noodles Soup!! Why have I waited so long to try this place?
OK I'll be honest, Scott has wanted to go here a few times and I've always said no as I felt it looked a bit shabby. There, I said it! I'm not a snob I promise.
I was in town yesterday on my own and I thought I'd bite the bullet and go in. The menu consists of, yep you've guessed it, various types of noodles soup!
I opted for the beef singapore laksa soup, as I knew it would be spicy and that's just what I need when getting over an illness. It came out almost immediately! Piping hot, spicy and fresh, with very slight coconut twang. It was so spicy it made my nose run! (That's my benchmark for when something is spicy enough for me)
It was a delight to look at as well as eat to be honest with you. I was annoyed with myself for waiting so long to eat here. Don't judge a book by its cover that's one thing for certain!!
I actually can't wait to go here again!! -

I had high hopes for this place as I read the positive reviews on Yelp and TripAdvisor. I ordered the wonton noodle soup and was disappointed in the quality and taste. I appreciated the service being quick as they took my takeaway order. But the meat in the wonton wasn't good and I couldn't finish the bowl in the end as it lacked flavour.
Maybe the other soups are better but I don't think I'll be coming back. -

I want to give this place 5 stars but I really hate that there is a tv on in there.
I like that it is Chinese run and serves food quickly. It's very much a city spot (I'm from the country, so this is a bit of s novelty for me), but I have to say I have come back here about 8 times already.
So, the soup!
I have to admit I go for the same thing every time :$ Singapore Laksa made with Beef Belly and Udon noodles.
JESUS CHRIST I LOVE IT.
It's juicy, soupy, spicy, succulent, and hits the goddam spot every damn time. I wish I could eat this every day and not die of carb overload.
It's just so reasonable priced and friendly and delicious every time.
Give it a bash, it's a favourite. -

Really good noodles! Lots and lots of options to choose from. Staff was very helpful with recommendations. My husband had noodles with beef tendon and I opted for a non-spicy beef with egg noodles. Both broths were extremely flavourful and the noodles were really nice. Large sized servings for a low price. We were so impressed that we are going back tomorrow!

I'm giving this a 5 star because the food is AMAZING! Been here 2 days in a row. Love it. The service is mediocre but since the food is so good it out weighs the service!!
